Oh how the greenery
of your embedded scenery
siren-whipped
the voyage of a tongue grown dry
and abrasive as an obvious pun
So brittle was the vessel
I coerced through tsunamis
of over-achievement and ill time
to wash up thirsty
on the shore of something
I was born to do
now I come to you a guilty boy
having milked the innocence
of goosebump fishing in the salt-
tickled rills
of your flannel estuary
