Wow, I was just working on my profile when I realized I've been here for two-plus years now. I never anticipated being where I currently am on here. My intention was to post some of the writing I had done before 2005. That year kicked off a spell of two or three years where I didn't write a word. For whatever reason, I lost all sense of inspiration. Well there may have medical elements involved but that's another story. The attention I got here for that early writing finally brought me back to pen and paper, and I've probably enjoyed my most prolific period of writing in the last year or so.

In 2001 I completed my BA in English and History and within that tenure I did one semester of creative writing but for the most part I've simply taught myself to write. Sometimes I do it well and sometimes I don't, but I try to limit this profile to what I believe to be readable stuff.

I haven't just used DA for writing however. I'm a vinyl record collector and I've posted a bunch of that on here and continue to do it in bunches from time to time. And just recently - in the last month or so - I've been trying to learn to draw. That' s been a labour of love but I'll stick with it.

Anyways I usually don't offer up this kind of memoir-like stuff so I'll wrap it up here. Everything else about me is in my info. But before I finish up here, I want to thank everyone who's faved, commented, or simply bothered to read my stuff. If not for the attention I received here two years ago, there's a good chance I may have never wrote again. So on that note, I end with a smile. :)

P.P.S: I do a bit of fanfiction as well, mostly when the block hits. It's kind of a last resort but it's probably my most popular stuff. Most of it is inspired by Naruto (in particular, Naruhina, Akatsuki, and a bit of Asuma and Kurenai), but Zelda, Witch Hunter Robin and Fruits Basket are in the mix as well.
